Gospel, Prayer, Discovery Table, Atrium, Baking

Once our guests leave Bethlehem and travel back to Winnipeg through the time tunnel, they will be greeted by friendly faces and presented with a 5-minute gospel message. The Gospel is what Bethlehem LIVE! is all about: telling people about the birth of Jesus and the gift of salvation they can simply receive.

Guests will be given the opportunity to pray the prayer of salvation and then will be welcomed into the beautifully decorated Atrium for homemade baked goods, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. There will be tables for fellowshipping, a Discovery Table with resources for new Christians or those who are still seeking answers, both children and adults, AND, a petting zoo with animals!

This space will be warm and inviting and will hopefully give families an opportunity to connect with someone from the church and begin building community.

Throughout the entire evening, there will be a group of people dedicated to praying in the Prayer Tower. Praying for the guests coming, that the Lord would do a good work in them as they experience Bethlehem LIVE! and praying for the actors and volunteers. There will also be a small team of prayers in the Atrium available to pray for anyone who needs it.

We will be looking for several types of people for the Gospel, Prayer, Discovery Table, and Atrium:

  • Gospel Room Attendant 1-2 – friendly and confident to pray the prayer of salvation aloud with the group

  • Discovery Table Attendants - stand at a table to answer any questions they have about what they just heard, and potentially guide them in a life-changing decision

  • Atrium Greeters – friendly and engaging

  • Food Server - cycle around the Atrium serving delicious treats or stand at a table serving drinks and treats

  • Prayers – up in the Prayer Tower and in the Atrium

  • Bakers - Items must be brought to the church ready-to-serve (pre-cut) and in a disposable container(s)

    • 8 dozen cookies or squares decorated in a Christmas theme
