Join us on Thursday evenings for ALPHA!
Starting April 11 until June 20 from 7:00-8:45 pm.
Alpha is a FREE 10-week course that gives you a chance to ask these questions and more, and to explore the Christian faith in a safe, fun and welcoming environment. Each session includes some snacks, a short video and a discussion where you can chat through your thoughts and questions with a small group of people.

Hearing God Seminar
Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, I know them and they follow Me.” John 10:27
The Hearing God Seminar is a foundational equipping course and is meant to provide every believer with confidence that they can hear God speak to them. God speaks primarily to us through the Bible, His Word, but He also speaks in many other ways.
Gateway is hosting the Hearing God Seminar at Gateway NORTH on THURSDAY evenings beginning on April 11.

Inspire Conference

Ladies Brunch
Ladies, if you are between the ages of 15 and 100, you are invited to BRUNCH! Join us Saturday, April 6 for homemade delicious food, warm conversations, and encouragement in faith.

Gateway 100
If you're new to Gateway North, we invite you to sign up for Gateway 100.
This is an introductory course that will help you understand what we believe and explain our core commitments. The course runs for two consecutive Sundays following the service. The first class was held on Sunday, March 17 and the second class will take place this Sunday, March 24.

Gateway Family Forum
Join us for our Gateway-wide Family Forum on Sunday, March 3 at 7:00 pm.
This is an annual meeting where we will present the 2023 Financial Report, the 2024 Budget, and also elect new directors. We will also have an update from all 3 churches as to what the past year has looked like.
In person attendance in encouraged; however, for those who cannot make it in-person, a zoom option will be available.

Prophetic Conference

Empower Ministers Retreat
Gateway North is hosting an Empower Ministers Retreat on February 9-10.
The Empower Ministers Retreat focuses on being equipped to do the work of ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit. You will learn about the gifts of the Spirit, and about what it means to live by the Spirit, so that He can lead and empower us for life and ministry.
The Empower Ministers Retreat is an amazing opportunity to explore the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how they can be used powerfully in our lives and the church!

Wiebe Appreciation & Farewell
Aaron Wiebe has been in a transition out of pastoral ministry at Gateway and the Wiebes have also felt the Lord leading them to say good-bye to South Osborne (not necessarily Gateway) as their home church.
We want to celebrate and honor Aaron & Wilma for the 17 years they and their family have invested into pastoral leadership, specifically at Gateway South Osborne.

SET FREE! Retreat
Gateway North will be hosting a Set Free! Retreat on behalf of Salt & Light Ministries and our Salt & Light Central family of churches.
What is a Set Free! Retreat?
Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, then you are really my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32)
A Set Free! Retreat is a weekend of meeting with Jesus through teachings on inner healing, The Holy Spirit, finding victory over things causing us to stumble, and experiencing lasting freedom in Christ.
Note: If you attended our 4-week Gateway 200 course, this retreat is also part of fully completing Gateway 200.

Celebration Service & Building Dedication
As a fitting finale to Ron & Mary’s celebration weekend, we will be having a building dedication on Sunday, September 17. This will be a great occasion and a wonderful opportunity to host all three of the Gateway Churches and The Kings School at our new location.
Celebrating 43 Years!
After 43 years of sacrificial love, dedication, servant-leadership, discipleship and investment across Gateway’s Churches, The King's School, the Church of Winnipeg, and around the globe, Ron and Mary MacLean have stepped down as Gateway Church’s senior pastors.
To celebrate this momentous accomplishment, we will be hosting a dessert evening on Saturday, September 16.
We would like to extend an invitation to you and your family (ages 13 and up)! This special event will be potluck style, so we are asking those attending to please bring their favourite dessert to share.

Family Forum
On Sunday, March 12 at 7:00 pm we will have our first in-person Family Forum in 3 years. It will take place at Gateway South Osborne, 486 Rathgar Ave. Agenda items include the presentation of the 2022 Financial Statements, approval of the 2023 Budget and approval of the directors.
Arising Lioness Conference
Arising Lioness Conference is for girls ages 16-21! It will be held at Calvary Church in Steinbach on February 24-25, and is an overnight event.

Hearing God Seminar
Every Tuesday evening, Feb 21-Mar 28. REGISTER HERE.
The Hearing God Seminar equips you with the tools and confidence to hear God for yourself, and is a part of completing Gateway 100. It will be happening on Tuesday evenings, beginning February 21 from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm.
We will be offering the course via Zoom only, and it will run for 6 sessions. The Hearing God Seminar also includes attendance (in-person) at one of Gateway’s local church Prayer Summits on Wednesday, March 1 at 7:00 pm.
Provincial Prayer
We will gather over Zoom on Sunday, January 22 at 7:00 pm with believers from all across Manitoba and Northwest Ontario!
Christmas Morning Service
For Christmas morning, we are excited to have all our Gateway congregations celebrate together at Gateway South Osborne, 486 Rathgar Avenue, with worship led by Will and Elyse Horner!
Join us on December 25 at 10:00 am. If you are unable to join us in person, we will livestream our Christmas morning and New Year’s morning services.
KIDS Ministry will not be offered because the South Osborne facility does not have enough space to host large groups in their KIDS Ministry area at this time. Kids' packs will be available for families on both Sundays.

NORTH - Gateway 100 - Session ONE
It has been exciting over the last few weeks and months to have so many guests join us for our Sunday services!

Gateway 200 is being offered at Gateway South Osborne for four weeks on Sunday mornings before our worship service this November 6, 13, 20, and 27. To register for these Sunday sessions please click HERE.

What is Gateway 200? No matter how long you've been a follower of Jesus, this four week course is designed to help you grow in spiritual maturity. We explore four spiritual growth habits that are essential to your faith journey and relationship with Jesus. Each session includes a teaching time, practical exercises and opportunities for meaningful discussion.
Gateway 200 is the second stage of the "Gateway Path" and is part of becoming more involved at Gateway. Our desire is that the content of Gateway 200 will help participants to establish and reinforce a strong spiritual foundation upon which future ministry involvement can flourish and grow. It’s also a great way to meet others at Gateway!

EAST Prayer Summit
Gateway East’s next Prayer Summit will be on Wednesday, November 2, from 7:00-8:00 pm. We will gather at Kurt and Heather Pay's home at 233 Mahonee Drive (north of Red Oak Drive). There are a few steps into the house, but hopefully access won't be a problem.
Last month, we prayed for a new location, so there is plenty to thank God for as we eagerly plan for our first Sunday at the East Elmwood Community Centre beginning in November. Please come and join us as we seek God for his help with this new opportunity for community-building and for growth!
